About Taking Hands Foundation | Centurion Non-Profit
Our story

Built on a simple belief: people are better when we care for one another.

Taking Hands Foundation NPC is a Centurion-based non-profit organisation founded in 2017, bringing practical support, fundraising and community action together.

“
Compassion becomes powerful when it has somewhere to go.
Why we exist

Turning good intentions into real moments of care.

Taking Hands was created to help bridge the space between people who want to make a difference and the people who urgently need that support.

The foundation has historically supported children in need and community welfare initiatives, while continuing to create room for broader acts of care across generations.

A hand offered. A hand received. A community made stronger.

What guides us

Kindness with structure.

Softness and professionalism can live in the same place. These principles shape the way we want every person to experience Taking Hands.

01 • Dignity

See the person first.

Support should protect a person's dignity, choice and sense of belonging.

02 • Compassion

Care should feel like care.

Warm communication and human connection matter just as much as practical help.

03 • Community

Impact grows together.

We create opportunities for individuals and businesses to contribute meaningfully.

04 • Possibility

Look beyond the immediate need.

Relief matters, but so do hope, confidence, opportunity and a future to look forward to.

2017
